Jees Di - Fraser Island is a beautiful place - a little rain shouldn't put you off - it will be wet in Brisbane anyway.....

Does anyone have a mattress pump that we could borrow?
Being pressured here .... son's in tears, "now over his rubbish phobia & wants to go camping", Georgie's putting in her 2 bob's worth & is heading to the supermarket for the 2nd time today, this time to buy her bro's & my supplies, my nausea has disappeared since I ate so it's all go again!

LMAO Kyro, the only "rush" around here is the "sh$te" to everyone's brain, it's like a circus right now.
I just got a call, Georgina has exited the building - as in "I left Dad at the supermarket & I'm walking/stomping home, I'm not going, he's a bleep bleep bleep". Then dad's on the phone, "Get her back here I can't read her shopping list, I need her eyes", & I'm laffin' my head off at the battle royale of the scorpios who love each other to bits.
Breathe, mother, breathe! I repeat, does anyone have a mattress pump thingie I could borrow?

Hey Fraser crew....Auscruiser is there and all set up awaiting the arrival of the club......I left Brisvegas at 2.30pm and arrived here at 7.30pm...wet, slow crappy trip....ok now all comfy in our unit at Rainbow, Vodka in hand and shower and dinner had.....yes it is raining....lots of water on the road from Gympie out but you will all be ok - it was a bit rough in my little Mazda 3...the big fella said just light rain on Fraser and no probs setting up...might head down to Inskip in the morning and wave you all off...what time are you expecting to get the barge....have a great time and drive safely

Confirming the cement tablet had the desired effect, we're all girled up .... 2 x TJ's from this family will be meeting y'all at Ettamogah Pub at 7-00am.
We will be departing Brisbane at 5-30am, so that's allowing 1.5 hours to get from the southside of the Gateway Bridge to the pub. I have Alex's mobile # in case of emergency & will PM mine to Duk now.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to a fabulous weekend.
I said 10 years ago, " If you can camp on Fraser (dingos, bugs, rain, nil running water) you can camp anywhere" and I reckon that still stands, only this w/end was huge amounts of fun & a great learning experience - thanks one & all

Many thanks to all who made it such an enjoyable experience, not only for myself and Jack but also for Thomas who was with me, and who is now pestering Steve (His father) to get a 4wd ASAP so they can go to Fraser with us next year....
